Special Education Secretary/Migrant Recruiter
QUALIFICATIONS:
• REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent and an Associate’s (AA) Degree or higher, or two years of college, or pass a formal state or local academic assessment that meets specific criteria
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience working in a school environment; knowledge of school district operations and procedures as well as special education law, operations and procedures
• Ability to use student data to assist teacher, building and district needs
• Must possess positive communicative skills with students, parent and staff
• Must be able to exhibit the ability to multi-task, be a self-starter and meet timelines
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding student, parent and staff information
• Must be able to work independently while following directions of the supervisor
• Must be flexible in work hours and work environments
• Must have the ability to exhibit a sense of humor, be flexible, open and honest with program staff
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience and knowledge working with WESPaC/Skyward student records system
• Experience in a Special Education Setting
