We’re seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Operations Supervisor in Yakima, WA. Position Highlights:

Essential Functions/Responsibilities/Duties

  • Coach, mentor, and train direct report staff. Provide continuous performance management.
  • Encourage staff to seek educational opportunities by incorporating job-related training.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of staff. 
  • Address performance and/or behavior issues, clarify expectations, and provide feedback.
  • Supervise and maintain the daily flow of HR Operations, acting as a liaison between staff and the Director of HR Operations.
  • Define and implement metrics to analyze data, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Assist with federal and state human resource-related compliance and organizational audits, including file reviews. 
  • Create and maintain Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) for all processes within the HR Operations function.
  • Develop and maintain a variety of standard reports to monitor and audit HR Operations processes and procedures. 
  • Establish and maintain processes for the creation and maintenance of employee personnel files.
  • Offer guidance and support to HR Operations team members, supervisors, and employees on HR Operations issues, procedures, and questions.
  • Compile, verify, sign, and organize HR-related forms and documents, including personnel changes and payroll processing.
  • Monitor and track the annual performance management information for Providers. 
  • Process unemployment claims in accordance with state requirements.
  • Oversee and manage the process of monitoring, tracking, and notifying employees when documents required per the job description are set to expire.
  • Continuously seek out and identify HR Operations trends and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR Operations initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Perform other supervisor duties as assigned.

  • Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related area.
  • Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related area, and two additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • High School Diploma or GED and four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience: 
  • With a Bachelor's Degree: 2 years of Human Resources work experience.
  • With Associate's Degree: 4 years of Human Resources work experience.
  • With HS Diploma/GED: 6 years of Human Resources work experience.
  • Additional Experience: Experience supervising staff preferred.
