Advertising Sales Employment Specialist
General Summary of Responsibilities
The Advertising Employment Category Sales Specialist is an integral part of our sales operation. Using our portfolio of products to help businesses attract new talent, your role is to help grow the Employment Channel by increasing the number of active accounts and revenue each month.
This is an inside sales position based in our Yakima office. The ideal candidate will be energetic and money motivated to prospect for new accounts and build new and lasting relationships. Area businesses need our help to find the right candidates, and we offer the very best solutions.
Essential Job Functions
- Always demonstrate honesty and integrity.
- Prospect for new clients and make sales calls daily
- Achieve monthly active account and revenue goals
- Excellent communication (written & verbal).
- Work with design team through the ad creative process
- Provide superior customer service internally and externally
- Maintain a positive, open and energized team atmosphere
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a big plus (but not required)
- This is an onsite position (not remote or hybrid)
- Participate in sales team meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn software programs
- Able to manage multiple projects at a time
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work 40/hrs Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm
Experience |
2 years experience in a sales role. We will provide training. |
Skills and Abilities / Lifting Requirements (Maximum weight required) |
Selling skills are necessary as well as excellent customer service skills and organization. This position requires a strong aptitude for learning and working with Microsoft suite of products; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. |
Minimum Education, certifications or licenses |
High school diploma. |

Must interact and work well with others internally and externally. Excellent communication skills and teamwork. |
Supervision Received |
Requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervisiion. Attend weekly sales meetings, training, adhere to deadlines. |
