Engineer IV – Water Resources  

Pay Range: $38.18 - $48.42 per hour (ENG44 Step 1-13) Hiring Range: $38.18 - $40.51 per hour (ENG44 Step 1-4 DOQ)  

There is one Engineer IV opening with the Yakima County Public Services, Water Resources Division. This position serves as technical lead for complex Water Resources engineering projects providing senior level technical and professional expertise. Acts as the technical support person to Yakima County elected and senior staff officials on design of flood control and stormwater facilities at varying levels of detail (preliminary to final); Drainage Improvement District facilities; hydraulic, hydrologic and stormwater modeling; and managing contracts for consultants and project construction.  

Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field AND four (4) years professional engineering experience including stormwater and flood control.
