Maintenance Worker (Extra Help)  

Pay Range: $17.00 - $21.56 per hour (A12 Step 1-13) Hiring Range: $17.00 - $18.04 per hour (Step 1-4 DOQ)  

There are multiple openings with the Yakima County Public Services, County Road Department. This is an intermittent, on-call, extra help, temporary position. The purpose of this position is to perform routine activities related to maintaining roads and facilities, building and surveying County owned roads. Performs other tasks as required. Work schedule may be scheduled up to 8 hours or more per day.  

Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of relevant experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential duties of the job.
