Program Coordinator (Paralegal)
$26.92 per hour/37.5 hours per week
Yakima County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is recruiting for a Program Coordinator (Paralegal) in its Attorney Support Division. This position is responsible for providing legal assistance to Chief Child Support Deputy (CCSD) and Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys for the processing and managing of paternity referrals, contempt referrals, child support modifications, and DCS representation cases from the Division of Child Support or the public (walk-in referrals) from the initial filing of cases through facilitating settlement or setting court dates leading to completion of the case.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Work or a related field and five years of progressively responsible legal administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
