Salary: $57,420 to $80,163.91 (14 step pay plan)

SUMMARY: This position performs professional level program and fiscal monitoring to ensure quality program services and fiscal compliance. This position will communicate and coordinate with both the fiscal and program(s) departments. The Program Specialist will be the primary program monitor for Medicaid Services Waiver contracts and Older American Act as needed. This position will assist with contracts procurements. This position will be back up to other program monitoring when necessary. This position will be responsible for oversight of Interpreters, Real Property Leases and Janitorial contracts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Social Services or related fields. • 2 years monitoring programs and/or services, OR 2 years of professional clinical work and assessment/determination of program requirements, OR a combination of clinical and monitoring experience. • General computer knowledge required. • Specialized training and expertise in Excel and Word required, Access experience preferred. • Clinical Social Service experience preferred. • Experience interpreting Administrative Codes (WAC/RCW) preferred. • Experience in monitoring in governmental or nonprofit social service preferred. • Experience working with contractors is preferred. • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance, if requested. • Successful completion of criminal background check.
