Our Senior and Residential Care program (SRCare) is searching for a physician that is excited about providing high quality care to residents of long-term care facilities in Yakima County. Our team of dedicated physicians works solely in nursing facilities managing patients with multiple chronic conditions as well as patients requiring rehabilitation services before returning home after a surgical procedure or medical event.
MD or DO degree required with particular interest and demonstrated competency in the care of geriatric and disabled patients. Graduate medical education and certification in geriatric medicine or in family medicine or internal medicine, with certificate of added qualification in geriatrics and/or AMDA certification or training preferred. If above education qualifications are successfully met, additional experience is not required. In lieu of above education, physician must demonstrate appropriate experience, leading to competencies in the care of geriatric and other high needs/chronically ill patients.
Ability to obtain licensure to practice medicine in the state of Washington and DEA license with no restriction from participation with the Medicaid or Medicare programs, ability to obtain credentials from appropriate health plans and to be covered by CHCW malpractice liability carrier required.
