Job Title: Controller
Directs financial activities from the Yakima headquarters, has primary responsibility over the general ledger and reports on the financial performance of the organization. The Controller must be able to use data to provide metrics and decision-making insights.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- May supervise A/P, A/R, Payroll and other assigned employees.
- Coordinate and direct the financial planning, budgeting, procurement, and investment activities.
- Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
- Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards.
- Prepare financial reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Analyze and reconcile the financial details of past, present, and expected operations.
- Communicate with external company contacts and attorneys on various items that impact the company,
- Ensure taxes and property taxes are paid, in compliance, documents are filed, and reports are completed.
- Work directly with management team on any special projects they need.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
