JOB DESCRIPTION Circulation Distribution Clerk
Position reports To: Circulation Field Operations Manager
Department: Circulation FLSA: Non-exempt
May 1, 2020 GENERAL SUMMARY
Provides critical clerical support for Distribution operations within the Circulation Department.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS * Prepare contract documents for Circulation District Managers and department Senior Managers.
Monitor completion of contract packets to verify required documentation is received.
* Data input and records management of retail newspaper draws and unsold copies (returns).
* Process contractor invoices and prepare compensation reports utilizing department software and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Word.
* Special projects as assigned. JOB SPECIFICATIONSEducation:
High school diploma or equivalent necessary to provide adequate communication skills.
Additional education desirable. Experience: Minimum 2 years office experience.
Able to demonstrate understanding of basic accounting.
Should include background of working with general public.
Skills & Abilities: Ability to treat confidential information, financial and business correspondence, in a responsible manner.
Excellent communication skills, competence with Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel, 10-key, and other office equipment.
Capable of working under deadlines. Able to multitask with frequent interruptions.
Able to contribute in a creative manner.
