IT Support Supervisor
The Yakima Herald-Republic, Central Washington's largest media company, seeks an Information Technology Support Supervisor to oversee all IT functions, including long-term infrastructure planning, monitoring systems and troubleshooting, resolving issues with software applications, managing help-desk calls, and supervising subordinate staff.
The IT Support Supervisor must be a highly effective communicator, able to work with a diverse group of individuals representing all sectors of the workforce.
The Herald-Republic is part of the family-owned Seattle Times Co., and communications and coordination with Times' IT staff is part of the Support Supervisor's responsibilities.
Qualifications include: Bachelor's or technical degree; two-plus years' experience working in an IT environment; experience with MS Terminal Services, Citrix or similar remote desktop platform; and experience with VPN client deployment and troubleshooting.
Experience with networking, firewall, SharePoint, Exchange and SQL is a plus.
