The Yakima Herald-Republic is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team, someone with a track record in all aspects of HR management, including labor and employee relations and payroll/benefits administration.
The Human Resources Manager is a key member of the Herald-Republic's executive team, assisting the Publisher in setting and achieving long-range organization and workforce goals.
This is a hands-on job that requires leading and directing payroll administration, employee benefits, compliance, safety programs, performance management, internal communications and training.
Experience working in a union environment, including participation in collective bargaining on labor agreements, is desired.
The HR Director must be a highly effective communicator, negotiator and conciliator able to work with a diverse group of individuals representing all sectors of the labor workforce.

A Bachelor's degree with specialization in Human Resources, or a Bachelor's degree with three years' Human Resources management.
